150-year-old mysterious castle ruins offered for sale in the Blue Mountains
One hundred and fifty years after it was founded by the who’s who of Sydney, a unique Blue Mountains property may still serve as a country retreat for those who love the great outdoors.
Ravaged by bushfire in the 1960s, the remnants of Eurama Castle – a once grand old home at 58 Sir Henrys Parade, Faulconbridge – remain on the property and are seeking their next owner.

Missing, though, is a functioning home – whether that is required will be up to the buyer, says listing agent Jonathan Crisp of Chapman Real Estate Springwood.
“It’s definitely attracted a lot of interest, but it’s not for everyone,” he says.
“It’ll take the right buyer to put the right time and effort into it, or they can just buy it and enjoy it.”
Expressions of interest are being sought for the sale of the property that last came onto the market in 2017.
